Zearfoss aims big in Pennsylvania homecoming

JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 17, 2023) - Despite being a full-time competitor with The Greatest Show On Dirt, and having the opportunity to compete at a variety of fantastic facilities and events, very few occurrences match the feeling of competing close to home. That feeling will return soon enough for Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, as the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-based World of Outlaws program is set to embark on a three-race swing in the Keystone State beginning Wednesday, July 19, at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven.
Pennsylvania action will resume Friday and Saturday, July 21-22, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. The annual Summer Nationals is on the agenda headlined with a $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
A tough outing in some respect, Zearfoss will head into his Pennsylvania swing fresh off of a full week in the Buckeye State, visiting Attica Raceway Park and Eldora Speedway for the Brad Doty Classic, Eldora Million, and Kings Royal, respectively. The “Jonestown Jet” highlighted his week with an A-Main qualification in Attica Raceway Park’s annual Brad Doty Classic on Tuesday, July 11. Zearfoss is a former event champion.
“Overall, a tough week at Attica and Eldora. We’re excited to be home for a few weeks and work out of our own shop. That will give us the chance to kinda reset our mindset and prepare for the next few weekends,” Zearfoss acknowledged. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work and effort. We’re going to keep working and hopefully make this next homecoming extra special.”
ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with another invasion of the Keystone State, set to takeover BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven on Wednesday, July 19, followed by Williams Grove Speedway’s annual Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday, July 21-22. Friday’s 25-lap main event will pay $10,000, plus another $5,000 to be Morgan Cup champion. Saturday’s 30-lap Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals finale posts $20,000 to the winner.
