JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 16, 2022) - It’s been a busy season to date for Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, but the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-based World of Outlaws operation finally made it home, continuing their sophomore campaign with the Greatest Show On Dirt with stops at Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway on Wednesday and Saturday, May 11 and 14, respectively.
Although the weekend was ultimately cut from three races to two, with Mother Nature negating all chances for action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, Zearfoss took advantage of his homecoming and secured back-to-back main event starts, finishing 18th in Lincoln Speedway’s Gettysburg Clash before bumping ahead two spots to finish 14th in Williams Grove Speedway’s Morgan Cup finale.
Zearfoss was involved in a caution early on in the Morgan Cup A-Main, but returned to the speedway to recover.
“It feels good to be home,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “Just to have the opportunity to work in our own shop for a few weeks is a huge bonus. Our goal is to take advantage of this opportunity to regroup ourselves for the busy road ahead.”
ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with a visit to Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 17, followed by an Ohio doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, visiting Attica Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway in respective fashion. The Ohio takeover will actually continue on May 28 with a stop at the Atomic Speedway highbanks in Chillicothe, Ohio.
