Zearfoss and Destiny end All Star four-pack with top-ten during Jack Gunn Memorial

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 27, 2018) – Brock Zearfoss’ effort in Central Pennsylvania with the All Star Circuit of Champions was promising, and although the ‘Jonestown Jet’ only earned one top-ten finish during the four-race/five-feature All Star sweep through the Keystone State, consistency was clearly on his side, finishing no worse than 14th after getting upside-down during the weekend opener at Grandview Speedway on Thursday. With that said, Zearfoss was battling for a top-ten position when the accident occurred.

Zearfoss earned his top-ten finish at Williams Grove Speedway during Jack Gunn Memorial Twin 20’s competition on Friday, August 24. Forced to do things the hard way, winning the evening’s B-main after failing to transfer through his respective heat race, the Jonestown, Pa., native used the second Jack Gunn Memorial feature invert to line-up ninth on the grid, ultimately improving one position to finish eighth. Zearfoss rallied from 21st to finish 14th during the first Jack Gunn Memorial main event.

“We are still learning a lot about each other. It takes time to figure out what we are comfortable with. I’m sure we will get to where we need to be soon,” Brock Zearfoss said about Destiny Motorsports. “The rest of 2018 is going to be one giant test session for us. Obviously, we want to win every time we sign-in at a track, but we are slowly getting ourselves ready for next year.”

Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports capped-off their recent stretch of All Star competition by finishing 11th and 12th during feature action at Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway, respectively.

Up next on the schedule, Brock Zearfoss and the Rick Rogers-owned Destiny Motorsports operation will travel to the Buckeye State, anxious to join the rest of the full-time All Stars, as well as Ohio’s finest, during three nights of action at two different facilities. Action will ignite on Friday and Saturday, August 31 & September 1, with the two-day Attica Ambush at Attica Raceway Park, followed by the $10,000-to-win Pete Jacobs Memorial at Wayne County Speedway on Sunday, September 2. Zearfoss has yet to visit the Ohio pair.

“I’m excited to visit new places. That’s one of the reasons I am so thankful for this opportunity. Rick Rogers is allowing me the chance to travel and visit new places. There are going to be many more, that’s for sure,” Zearfoss continued. “I’m always ready for the challenge.”
